Caitlin Clark was destined to be great. She knew at an early age what it would take to reach her basketball dreams. Back in second grade, Clark even wrote some of her goals which are now visible on Caitlin Clark’s Limitless Wilson basketball collection.

The words “Play in the WNBA” and “Get a basketball scholarship” can be seen on the basketballs which are scheduled to be released July 9.

Clark has indeed turned those words into reality. After electrifying the women’s college basketball scene during her legendary four-year career with the Iowa Hawkeyes, she turned pro in 2024 when the Fever selected her first overall in the WNBA draft.

The WNBA has been a challenging monster to deal with for Clark, but it can’t be said that her struggles in the pros weren’t expected.

Through Clark’s first 16 games in the WNBA, she’s averaged 16.0 points, 7.1 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from the 3-point arc.

She should be fine, and she will become a better player the more experience she gets in the league.

It is all part of the plan.
