A new restaurant has opened in Lisbon, Ohio

LISBON, OH - A new restaurant has come to town.

Earlier this month, a new restaurant called Diamond Meat & Eats opened for business, according to this social media post from the mayor of Lisbon. The restaurant is located in Lisbon at 7735 OH-45. Diamond Meat & Eats is a new venture from the owners of Doyle's Fresh Meat and Deli, which is located in East Palestine.

The restaurant is open for breakfast from 6 AM to 1 PM. You can get breakfast items like the farmers special (which comes with 2 eggs, toast, and coffee), steak & eggs, meat lover scrambler (which comes with bacon, ham, and sausage), breakfast sandwich (which is served on a bagel and comes with a fried egg, American cheese, and your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage), sausage gravy & biscuits, French toast, build-your-own omelets (each omelet is made with 3 eggs and can be filled with items like bacon, ham, sausage, shredded cheddar, American cheese, provolone, Swiss, mushrooms, peppers, and/or onions), pancakes, oatmeal, grits, and breakfast burritos, which are filled with 2 scrambled eggs, peppers, onions, your choice of meat, and shredded cheese.

For lunch, the menu includes starters like garlic butter fries, loaded fries, Philly fries (which are loaded with shaved beef, grilled peppers, onions, and provolone), hot chips with dip, loaded hot chips, loaded tater tots, pulled pork nachos, chicken tenders, onion rings, jalapeno poppers, breaded mushrooms, pretzel sticks with beer cheese, and more.

In addition, Diamond offers sandwiches like BLTs, Philly cheesesteaks, pulled pork sandwiches, fried haddock sandwiches, fried bologna sandwiches with hot peppers, grilled cheese, Reubens, burgers (check out the Western burger, which is topped with BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar, and onion straws), and more. As for main courses, the restaurant has items like sirloin steak, NY strips, fish dinners (you can have your haddock fried or broiled), ribeyes, filets, T-bone steaks, porterhouse steaks, short ribs, and both traditional and boneless wings, which can be served with one of the following sauces: hot, mild, Cajun, bourbon, BBQ, roasted garlic parmesan, ranch, dry ranch, or honey mustard.

The new restaurant is open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday from 6 AM to 5 PM. The restaurant plans to add dinner hours in the near future.
