A new restaurant has opened in Columbus, Ohio

COLUMBUS, OH - A new restaurant has opened on South Front Street.

Are you in the mood for a smashburger? If the answer is yes, you might want to check out Smash Buddies, which recently opened a new restaurant in Columbus at 460 S Front St. According to the restaurant's social media account, the new brick-and-mortar location opened earlier this month. Smash Buddies started as a food truck before opening the new space on South Front Street.

The menu includes burgers like the Original (which comes with beef, cheese, and the restaurant's signature sauce), All-American (which comes with beef, cheese, pickles, onions, tomato, lettuce, mayo, and mustard), and patty melt, which is served on Texas toast and comes with beef, cheese, and sauce.

As for sides, Smash Buddies offers tater tots (which are seasoned with the restaurant's signature blend) and loaded tots (which are covered with beef, cheese, grilled onions, and sauce). If you have room for something sweet, the restaurant serves vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream.

If you want something to drink, the restaurant serves soft drinks and beer.

This was a pretty solid burger! Tater tots were also pretty good, a little salty but better than under seasoned. Kind of disappointed by the minimal drink options and I’m personally not a fan of ordering via QR code at my table. Still looking forward to maybe eating here again one day! Hopefully they’re able to expand their menu now that they’re in a permanent space.

The restaurant is open 5 days a week, Wednesday to Thursday from 11 AM to 9 PM, Friday to Saturday from 11 AM to 12 AM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 8 PM. It's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
