A new restaurant has opened in Canton, Ohio

CANTON, OH - A new restaurant has opened downtown.

On August 22, Good Fortune celebrated its soft opening, according to the new restaurant's social media account. Customers can find the restaurant in Canton at 337 Cleveland Ave NW. Per the restaurant's website, Good Fortune "is a bar, restaurant and lounge, showcasing the essence of seasonal and sustainable approaches through food and drink alike in a curated space unlike any."

The restaurant's current food menu includes items like spicy pickles, mussels escabeche, table salad (which has Caesar dressing, pickles, corn nuts, and Midnight Moon gouda), spicy cucumbers (which come with snap peas, sticky chili crisp, salsa verde, and walnuts), and loaded potatoes, which come with honey mustard, potato macha, and mimolette.

In addition, the menu has summer pasta (which comes with spaetzle, Mom’s pesto, caramelized onions, ricotta, and zucchini), chicken wings (which come with garlic gouda aioli, pimenton ahumado, and pangritata), pork shoulder (which is served with charred corn & peppers, sumo-kosho double cream, and marinated onions), and half chicken, which comes with tomato & mushroom mayo, various herbs, and dressed celery.

If you want something to drink, the bar offers a variety of cocktails and wines.

Ordered almost everything on my first time in. Promises of a seasonal menu have me excited. The Chicken Wings and Pork Shoulder are a unique twist on a classic and they work very well. I'd advise giving this place a try.

It's a Tapas style bar and restaurant. You can spend as much or as little as you want here. It's nice to see Canton, Ohio getting more upscale restaurants. The interior of this place is really fun.
