COLUMBUS, OH - A new food option has come to Olentangy Plaza.

Are you a fan of dim sum? If you answered yes to that question, you might want to check out CoCo Cuisine, which recently opened its doors in Columbus at 751 Bethel Rd. The new spot is an expansion of the restaurant CoCo Hot Pot.

The menu, of course, features a variety of dim sum. Customers can get items like shrimp dumplings, siu mai, spare ribs with black bean sauce, chicken feet with black bean sauce, shrimp & chive dumplings, steamed sticky rice with chicken, shrimp crepes, beef crepes, and crispy dough stick crepes. Furthermore, the restaurant offers handmade soup dumplings. You can get dumplings with crabmeat & pork soup, black truffle soup, cucumber & pork soup, chicken & corn soup, or mushroom & tofu soup.

Also on the menu are an assortment of buns like BBQ pork buns, pan-fried pork & vegetable buns, egg custard buns, and liquid custard pineapple buns. The restaurant also offers preserved egg & pork congee, seafood congee, crispy durian crepes, brown sugar sponge cake, durian pancakes, water chestnut cake, grilled beef short rib, pot-stickers, pan-fried turnip cake, crispy stuffed taro, crispy minced pork dumplings, sesame balls, and more.

Here is what a local guide had to say about the new dim sum spot in a Google review:

New (as of August 2024) dim sum restaurant from the owners of CoCo Hotpot and CoCo Grill. The owners intend to serve the most comprehensive dim sum menu and have hired several chefs specializing in Cantonese cuisine.

Ordered standard dim sum fare such as siu mai, pork w/ bean curd skin, steamed beef balls, shrimp crepe, pork buns and custard buns. Plus the oolong tea. All were excellent and easily betters (in both taste and quantity) offerings from other dim sum places in Cols. Price in line with other places.

CoCo Cuisine is adjacent to CoCo Hotpot. You can also order from the hotpot menu as well. Quick and attentive service. Nice modern ambiance (great display of the 18 arhats). Ample parking in Olentangy Plaza. Highly recommended if you are into dim sum.
