Chipotle and Panera Bread coming to new Islandia development

Chipotle Mexican Grill and Panera Bread have signed leases for spaces at a soon-to-be developed retail property in Islandia.

Chipotle will occupy about 2,500 square feet in the new building to be constructed at 1900 Veterans Memorial Highway.

Panera Bread will occupy about 3,500 square feet in the same building.

Both of the new Chipotle and Panera Bread restaurants will feature drive-thru windows.

Islandia Jaz LLC, a Breslin Realty affiliate, is developing the 9,200-square-foot retail building on the 2.04-acre vacant parcel that’s adjacent to the Walgreens at 1860 Veterans Memorial Highway. The company still has about 3,200 square feet of retail space available to lease at the new development.

Robert Delavale represented Panera Bread and also served as in-house representative for landlord Breslin Realty in both Islandia lease transactions. Doug Weinstein of RIPCO Real Estate represented Chipotle in the Islandia lease transaction.
