District 10 - Mille Lacs area

    - CO Victoria Griffith (Isle) monitored ATV, OHM and angling activity in Isle and surrounding areas. Assistance was given at a firearm safety class. Enforcement action was taken on fishing, ATV, and boat violations.

    - CO Dan Starr (Onamia) worked on equipment items and attended a training session on invasive species. Anglers were checked with the walleye bite being pretty good. Starr covered the “Lids for Kids” event in the Little Falls station. Approximately 600 kids received a certificate to mostly cover the cost of a new ATV helmet. A huge thank you to the volunteers, donors, and family that turned a tragedy into an important mission for our rural ATV community.

    District 12 - Princeton area

    - CO Ryan Hanna (Milaca) received a tip call of two baby deer that were taken from their mom and were being housed in a residence garage. With the assistance of Benton County Sheriff's Office, Officer Hanna was able to locate and rescue two fawns in a very cluttered garage along with arresting someone with a felony warrant. The two fawns were transported to a rehabber.
