    7-month-old girl found unharmed after Jackson auto theft

    UPDATE:

    JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Detective Tommie Brown said the child was found abandoned at Brent’s Drugs in the Fondren neighborhood.

    He said the child was unharmed, but she was transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.

    According to Brown, the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived at the location.


    JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Jackson police are searching for a seven-month-old girl after a vehicle was stolen.

    Detective Tommie Brown said the child was taken in the vehicle pictured below from the 500 block of Beasley Road on Saturday, July 6.

    The child is a seven-month-old white, female child. The vehicle was last seen traveling on Interstate 55 South from Beasley Road in Jackson.
