Man dies after being shot multiple times on Livingston Road

JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Jackson.

The shooting happened shortly after 5:00 a.m. in the 3000 block of Livingston Road.

Detective Tommie Brown said when officers arrived at the location, they were told that a man had been shot multiple times and transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC).

Brown said the victim, 47-year-old Willie Luckett, was pronounced deceased upon his arrival. There’s no suspect information at this time.
