The Jaguars PREP 15 and under flag football team has made it through pool play in the NFL Flag Championships in Canton, Ohio to get to the round of 16 beginning on Friday.

The Jaguars will play the Jets at 3 p.m. on Friday and the game can be viewed on three cable and digital platforms: ESPN2, ESPN+ and NFL+.

Pool play was structured along NFL division lines and the Jaguars made a clean sweep of teams representing the AFC South. The Jaguars beat Noblesville, Ind. (Colts) 29-0, the Lockdown Legends (Titans) 27-24 and TFL (Texans) 33-13.

The players are Mike Conner, Xander Edwards, Asher Ghioto, Marquez Hicks, Ty Keister, Jackson Visconti, Tre Williams III, TJ Williamson, Brysen Wright and Messiah Frazier. Their coaches are Brian Traster and David Price.

The Jaguars went 3-0 on Thursday in pool play. They have a chance to reach the championship on Sunday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Stadium.

    Jaguars 18U girls advance

The Jaguars 18 and under girls team went 1-2 but still advanced out of pool play and won two games on Friday to reach the semifinals. The Jaguars beat Twister Sister (Broncos) 33-0 and the Cleveland Mutts (Browns 32-0). The Jaguars will play Woodland Hills (Steelers) on Saturday at 1:40 p.m.

Since the girls team is in Pool B, its games for the rest of the week won't be aired.

The Jaguars' two pool losses were by a combined four points, falling to the Liberty City Warriors (Texans) 9-6 and the KC Shockers (Colts) 14-13. They beat Premier (Titans) 18-7.

Ralph Graham named flag Coach of the Year

Jacksonville already has one winner this week. Ralph Graham, who coaches the Jaguars PREP 18 and under girls team (which went 1-2 in pool play) and assists with the 15U boys team, was named the NFL Flag Football Coach of the Year on Thursday night.

Graham, 45, has coached flag, tackle football, baseball and soccer in youth and high school sports since 2003 and has coached in the Jaguars flag program for the last four years.

He played flag football for adult teams beginning in 1999 when he was at the University of North Florida. In 15 years of playing flag football, he was on six city championship and two national championship teams.
