Law enforcement said Pin Oak Court is closed while the explosives are being removed. Deputies said the explosives discovery comes hours after several agencies were called to remove “an explosive ordinance” from a separate property in Sonora.

Officials said the CCSO bomb squad determined the safest way to dispose of the newly-found explosives is by detonation. “ Multiple loud explosions ” are expected to be heard in the Jamestown area.

“Old explosives can be very unstable, we ask the public not to handle, cover, move or transport unwanted explosives,” TCSO said on social media. “We are thankful these explosives did not detonate unintentionally and that no one was injured.”
