Johnson medals at Adidas National
GREENSBORO, N.C., June 15 — Luray High School rising senior Davey Johnson took 6th place in the National Elite division at the Adidas National meet in Greensboro, N.C. In the course of medaling in the prestigious meet among elite competition, Johnson also took another LHS record from his father, Paul Johnson, running 4:21.27 in the 1600 meters. Dr. Johnson, now an assistant superintendent for Page County Public Schools, set the previous record in 1984.
