One of TikTok's fastest growing college football creators pulled off his first challenge of the season at the University of Illinois.

GFed spent his Thursday night in Champaign, Illinois, for the Illini's 45-0 win over Eastern Illinois . After the game, the content creator — with half a million followers across TikTok , YouTube and X — spent more than an hour canvassing Memorial Stadium in an attempt to make his way to the playing field.

"Tonight we're gonna see how long we can stay at our first college football game," GFed said into the camera at the start of the nearly 7-minute video in which he wound his way through the "weird architecture" of cement and brick, commenting often on the industrial nooks and crannies of the "ancient" stadium.

"This thing is so old, but it is built to last," GFed says at one point, bathed in red light and surrounded by a row of floor-to-ceiling stone columns. "So weird it's endearing."

GFed, self-proclaimed as "The Internet's Stadium Tour Guide," remarks about the various shrines around Memorial Stadium celebrating Illini of the past like Red Grange, Dick Butkus and George Huff. At one point, GFed takes an elevator to multiple floors of club spaces and looks around.

Because of the unique architecture of Illinois, GFed eventually exited the stadium in an attempt to get to the field but ended up locking himself out. He did settle for stepping onto the Illini practice field.

"If nothing else," GFed said as he showed his shoes touch the orange turf, "this is at least one field knocked out."

For the record, GFed clocked himself at spending 1 hour, 16 minutes at Memorial Stadium after the game.

    Who is GFed?

GFed, a Lansing, Michigan, native, visited the state of Illinois last fall for another of his challenges in which he visited the four directional schools: Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern. He completed it in one day, driving 12 hours and 30 minutes between the schools. That feat was highlighted a story last fall by USA TODAY's Jack McKessy .

GFed told USA TODAY he only completes his "Walk On Challenge" as long as he doesn’t have to hop any fences or pick any locks. “I only walk through open doors and just, like, open access where it’s easy to get through,” he said. If schools tell him to leave, GFed says he happily complies.

According to the Indianapolis Star, GFed shot "How Long Can I Stay" video at the Indy 500 and another at the Kentucky Derby. He was in Indiana in February for the NBA All-Star Game and filmed another video in his series, wrote the newspaper.

GFed also has attended several NFL games, but the "How Long Can I Stay" series prompted the league to "serve him papers," according to the IndyStar , saying he would be banned from all stadiums until he took a Fan Code Conduct Class that would cost him $250. He completed the class in the video.
