Chez Sami to close Wolfforth location, Lubbock location stays open

LUBBOCK, Texas — French restaurant Chez Sami announced in a social media post on Tuesday that it will close its Wolfforth location in mid-June.

The Texas-based French-inspired restaurant opened the doors of its Wolfforth location in 2021 and later opened a second location in Downtown Lubbock in October 2023. Chez Sami clarified that its Downtown Lubbock location would remain open.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the upcoming closure of our beloved restaurant, Chez Sami Wolfforth, on June 15,” the social media post said.

Chez Sami invited the public to “join [Chez Sami Wolfforth] for one last nostalgic meal.” The post also said the public’s presence would “bring us great joy but also help us cover the expenses associated with our closure and move.”

According to the restaurant’s social media page, Chez Sami is “committed” to finding a location that can serve as “a cherished dining destination.”
