Patrick Mahomes' Wife Brittany Mahomes Mocks Chiefs Star During MLB Home Run Derby

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes were among the millions who watched the 2024 Home Run Derby on Monday night. It was an entertaining event overall, with a nerve-wracking finale between Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez and Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr.

Patrick seemed anxious while watching Witt hit in the Derby, as captured in a photo by Brittany, who posted the following image via Instagram story with a caption that read: “Power stance” along with a laughing emoji.

Witt, however, fell short of winning the Derby crown, as he came just a home run away from tying Hernandez in the finals. Hernandez hit 14 in the championship round to 13 by Witt.

Overall, though, Witt had the most home runs among all participants, as he sent 50 balls out of the field, while Hernandez was not far behind with 49.

Although he became famous for playing football, Patrick has baseball in his blood. His father, Pat Mahomes, played pro baseball in MLB and Japan as a pitcher. Patrick also saw brief baseball action with the Texas Tech Red Raiders in college.
