Patrick Mahomes Goes Viral After Connecting With New Chiefs Weapon

The reigning Super Bowl champions are getting down to work, as the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for the upcoming 2024 NFL season.

Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes is among the Chiefs players who have arrived early in Missouri for Kansas City’s training camp, and he appears to be already finding his groove with rookie running back and ex-rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit.

In a video uploaded on X (formerly Twitter) by the Chiefs, Mahomes can be seen completing a short pass to Rees-Zammit. That was enough to hype up Chiefs fans who can’t wait for the new season to begin.

Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire are considered the top two running backs on the Chiefs roster, but the training camp offers Rees-Zammit a chance to prove that he deserves to be part of Kansas City’s Week 1 roster.

Last season, the Chiefs ranked 14th in the NFL with 22.2 points per game and 17th with 109.3 rushing yards per contest.
