Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are busy preparing for the 2024 NFL season, with the reigning Super Bowl champions at Missouri Western State University for their training camp.

Mahomes, however, still finds time to follow his favorite athletes, including Kansas City Royals All-Star shortstop Bobby Witt, Jr., who left the two-time NFL Most Valuable Player nearly out of words amid a scintillating performance Monday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

“Man is going crazy right now!” Mahomes posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Witt already had a double, triple, and home run before the end of the fourth inning, leaving fans expecting him to complete a rare cycle. Although Witt was not able to accomplish that feat, he was undeniably sensational in the Royals’ 10-4 win against the Diamondbacks, finishing 3-for-4 with three RBIs to his name.

With their win against Arizona, Witt and the Royals remain undefeated since the All-Star break. On a four-game win streak, the Royals will look to sustain their scorching form when they play the Diamondbacks again at Kauffman Stadium this Tuesday.
