    Kansas City man injured after parachute incident in Nebraska

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 41-year-old Kansas City, Missouri man is expected to make a full recovery after being injured in a parachute incident in Nebraska.

    The incident was reported Saturday, July 27, just after 2 p.m. according to the Cass County, Nebraska Sheriff’s Office .

    Deputies responded to the area of the Lincoln Sport Parachute Club in Weeping Water, Nebraska.

    It was reported that the man’s parachute buckled approximately 20 feet in the air, causing him to descend rapidly before impacting a car and then the ground.

    The victim was taken to a hospital with head trauma. Despite the incident, the sheriff’s office said he is expected to make a full recovery.
