Patrick Mahomes Leaves Fans In Disbelief After Insane Training Camp Pass

Mahomes Magic is already in full force as the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.

Patrick Mahomes wowed onlookers during Friday's training camp session in St. Joseph, Missouri, rolling left to evade pressure before flipping the ball backhanded across the field for a completion to veteran wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

What would be a career highlight for most signal-callers—even in a practice setting—has become frighteningly routine for Mahomes. Not only is he a three-time Super Bowl MVP at the age of 28, but the Chiefs' superstar has continued re-writing the rules for quarterback play ever since first bursting onto the scene as a full-time starter in 2018.

How many quarterbacks in the league right now would even dream of making this play? It's not like Mahomes saved it for the practice field, either. He's completed several similarly mind-blowing flips and flicks during game action en route to becoming the best player in football.

Kansas City fans, obviously, have grown accustomed to Mahomes' on-field feats over the years. Even they were left amazed by this latest display of talent and creativity, though.

Mahomes and the Chiefs open the regular season on September 5th against the Baltimore Ravens, a rematch of last year's AFC Championship. Needless to say, expect plenty of fireworks when he and Lamar Jackson kickoff 2025 at Arrowhead Stadium.
