Arkansas boy using music to heal after dad’s death gets to join Zach Bryan on stage

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An Arkansas boy who uses music as his outlet to heal after his dad’s death got the opportunity of a lifetime Monday night at a Zach Bryan concert.

Brayden Miles joined Bryan on stage at a concert at Simmons Bank in North Little Rock Monday night, singing one of the 13-year-old’s favorite songs with him.

Miles’ heartfelt singing in the audience is what started it all, catching the attention of Bryan’s team, who eventually brought him on stage with Bryan to sing “Revival.”

Miles knows what it’s like for Bryan to write songs about pivotal moments in his life. He does it himself as a way to cope after his dad’s sudden passing a few years ago.

Miles said in those few moments on stage, it felt like it was just him and his dad.

“I think he’d be like, ‘You did it… you did it bub,’” Miles said.

To top off this memory, Bryan gave Miles an autographed guitar, which Miles said caused even more tears to flow.

Miles said thanks to the encouragement from Bryan, the hundreds of thousands of likes and comments and videos of him going viral on TikTok, he is encouraged to continue singing and playing guitar and has more of an interest in music now than ever.
