Football Forecast: Mild & Pleasant for SportsZone Week 1

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — It’s that time of the year again! KCAU 9 SportsZone is back! And the forecast certainly isn’t a fumble for the first week of high school football action!

Looking at sunshine and temperatures in the low/mid 70s for kickoff. Temperatures dropping off into the upper 60s by halftime and into the mid 60s as those games are wrapping up and for the drive home! Winds looking calm too.

Pretty much perfect football weather for all those area football games, including for the SportsZone Game of the Week, MOC-Floyd Valley kicks off against Unity Christian that kicks off at 7 PM!
