DALLAS (KDAF) — We all know that the Lone Star State loves some college football, but one Texas university is the second best for tailgates in the US, according to a new report.
Tailgating is more than just a pre-game ritual – it’s a time-honored tradition that has become an integral part of the football experience, especially at college games across the United States.
Betway ranked the most-known colleges for football programs based on how popular their tailgate parties are according to online mentions.
The University of Texas ranked in second place, with a popularity score of 1.8248 out of 3. Texas’ score was boosted thanks to 590,000 annual searches, 24,000 social media posts, and 29% positive social sentiment.
UT was beat out only by the University of Alabama, with a score of 1.8931.
