    Kenner house fire leaves two dogs unaccounted for

    KENNER, La. ( WGNO ) — Firefighters extinguished a two-alarm fire at a Kenner home on Thursday, June 27.

    According to the Kenner Fire Department Chief, a call was received at 4:56 p.m. reporting the blaze in the 3300 block of Massachusetts Avenue. KFD officials said crews were on the scene within four minutes, and the fire took around an hour to be put out.

    According to the KFD, the occupants of the home made it outside safely, but their two dogs are still unaccounted for.

    Kenner fire officials said one firefighter also sustained heat-related injuries, although he is expected to be okay.
