Stephen F. Austin Gardens to host weekend plant sale

NACOGDOCHES, Texas ( KETK ) – An annual plant sale will take place at Stephen F. Austin State University’s plant center on Saturday and Sunday.

SFA said their Pineywoods Native Plant Center, on 2900 Raguet St., is hosting a Garden Gala Day Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this weekend.

According to a release, the following types of plants will be on sale: Texas natives, edibles, tropicals, perennials, shrubs and trees. The plants are produced by garden staff members and volunteers. A full list of plants that will be on sale can be found on the SFA Gardens website .

Money raised from the sale will support SFA Gardens staff, operations of the arboretum, plant center, azalea garden and children’s garden.
