Friday Night Forecast: Rain clearing out, less humid this weekend

A cold front will continue to make its way through the area late this evening, lowering humidity and putting an end to our rain chances. Lows the next several mornings will fall into the 60s, with even some 50s possible Sunday and Monday mornings. By Wednesday of next week, rain chances return to the forecast. A disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico could influence our weather late next week, but it’s too early to say just how much of an influence it could have. Regardless, rain chances will be on the increase late in the week.

TONIGHT : Rain showers clearing out late this evening with skies clearing overnight. Chance of rain: 30% (early). Lows will drop into the upper 60s. Winds NE at 10-15 mph.

SATURDAY : Mostly sunny skies. Highs in the upper 80s. Overnight lows falling into the upper 50s to near 60. Winds NE at 10-15 mph.

SUNDAY : Mostly sunny skies. Highs in the mid 80s. Overnight lows in the upper 50s. Winds NE at 10-15 mph.

MONDAY : Mostly sunny skies. Highs in the upper 80s. Lows in the lower 60s. Winds NE at 10-15 mph.

TUESDAY : Partly cloudy skies. Highs near 90. Lows around 70. Winds E at 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY : Partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and storms possible. Chance of rain: 30%. Highs in the mid 80s. Lows in the lower 70s. Winds SE at 5-10 mph.
