OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) — Days after their brother’s death, Isabela Rodriguez and Gabriela Vanhook Rodriguez are heartbroken and left with a lot of questions.

“We don’t get it. We’re confused, we’re sad, we’re hurt… We don’t know if we can ever come back from this,” said Vanhook Rodriguez, Joel Rodriguez’s older sister. “Why was he left by himself? Who would just leave him?”

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, Joel Rodriguez was gunned down at the Lincoln Inn in Northeast Oklahoma City on Saturday. Officers found the 28-year-old in the hallway on the second floor.

“He was just an amazing boy, amazing brother. He didn’t deserve this,” said Vanhook Rodriguez.

So far no one’s been arrested.

OKCPD is now releasing new surveillance video showing several people wanted for questioning in the case.

“There’s four in total. Three of which are males. One is a female,” said MSgt. Gary Knight with the OKCPD.

Rodriguez’s family is asking you to take a good look at the video as they seek justice.

“They need to be caught, and they need to be in jail, rotting,” said Vanhook Rodriguez.

She said her brother was loving, sweet and goofy. Rodriguez says her family is desperate for answers as to who did this and why.

“Please, please, please, please, come forward,” said Vanhook Rodriguez. “We need that closure.”

If you recognize any of the people in the video, call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.

Rodriguez’s family created a Go Fund Me page to help cover funeral costs.
