    ‘Supper and Snacks in the Stacks’ at the Kern County Library

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — In partnership with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools and the Taft City School District, this week the “Supper and Snacks in the Stacks” begins.

    Fahra Daredia, with the Kern County Library, joined 17 News at Sunrise to discuss the new upcoming library event and how you can check the calendar and locations.

    Empowerment’s ‘Grateful Gala’ fundraiser restores hope to victims and survivors of human trafficking

    A free meal, snack, and a space to peacefully do homework will be provided for children ages 2 to 18 years old.
