Moms For Liberty Hosting Petition Signing At 13th Annual Home & Garden Show

While you’re visiting the 13th Annual KHTS Home & Garden Show next weekend, don’t forget to stop by all the amazing booths representing our local organizations, including an opportunity to sign a petition hosted by Moms of Liberty!

In collaboration with petition organizer Protect Kids CA, California Moms for Liberty chapters have been authorized to gather signatures to put the Protect Kids of California Act of 2024 on the November ballot.

If passed, the Act would: require gender-at-birth-segregated facilities like bathrooms at public and private schools and colleges, as well as prohibit transgender girls from participating on girl’s teams starting at 7th grade, require schools to notify parents if a student under 18 identifies other than their gender according to student records without exceptions for student safety, and prohibits gender-affirming health care for students under 18, even if parents consent or treatment is medically recommended, according to official state documentation .

“In California, we’re kind of the central point where a lot of these horrible policies relating to youth and gender dysphoria are happening,” Protect Kids California’s co-founder, Jonathan Zachreson, told the New York Sun .

The objective of the collaboration between Moms for Liberty and Protect Kids CA is to collect over a million signatures to ensure the ballot measure makes it onto the November 2024 Ballot, according to a release from the organizations.

To sign the petition, go online or visit Mom’s For Liberty at Booth 1307  on Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, during the 13th Annual KHTS Home and Garden Show , featuring over 400 local vendors, an emergency expo and more, sponsored by Providence Holy Cross , Southern California Edison , Grocery Outlet and SCV Water .
