St. Cloud man arrested for allegedly aiming loaded gun at teens
(St. Cloud, MN) -- A St. Cloud man is facing felony assault charges for allegedly pointing a loaded handgun at two teenagers Sunday night. The criminal complaint says 41-year-old Corey Self initially pointed a green laser at the 14 and 17-year-olds from an apartment window. The kids told police they approached the window and asked Self to stop, when he opened the blinds and pointed a black handgun at them. Officers searched the apartment and found a green laser and loaded 9-millimeter handgun. A preliminary breath test showed Self had a blood alcohol level of point-179.
Motorcycle Crash Sends Annandale Man to the Hospital
MAINE PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP (WJON News) -- An Annandale man was hurt after crashing his motorcycle Thursday evening. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene in the 15000 block of Caldron Road at around 6:20 p.m. The sheriff's office says the crash location is about two miles north of Kimball.

Minnesota Law Officer Airlifted to Hospital After Rollover Crash
Willmar, MN (KROC-AM News) - A law enforcement officer in western Minnesota was airlifted to a hospital in St. Cloud following a traffic crash Thursday evening. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office says the single-vehicle crash was reported around 6:20 PM on a rural highway near the town of Atwater, approximately 5 miles east of Willmar. A news release says the responding deputies quickly learned the crash involved a fellow Kandiyohi County deputy who was on duty and driving a squad car.
Stearns County cracks down on human trafficking: 8 arrests leads to upcoming court cases
ST. CLOUD — The Stearns County Attorney’s Office is taking several human trafficking cases to court this coming month after the Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force busted eight individuals trying to solicit sexual acts between June 25 and June 27. The next scheduled court appearance for at least one of the cases is on July 19, according to Minnesota court records, with one Stearns County inmate facing a felony charge and seven other individuals facing misdemeanors. ...
