Street closed for sinkhole repair in Church Point, police say

UPDATE: The street has been reopened, Church Point police said, and temporary repairs have been made.

ORIGINAL: ACADIA PARISH, La. ( KLFY ) — A portion of Robert Street in Church Point is closed for sinkhole repair, according to the Church Point Police Department.

The police department announced on social media that Robert Street is closed from South Main Street to South David Street while repairs are underway.
