SWEET SPRINGS BOARD APPROVES SUMMER POOL HOURS AND PRICES

The Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen approved the summer hours and prices for the Sweet Springs pool during its meeting on Monday, May 13.

According to minutes from the meeting, aldermen agreed with the pool board’s recommendation for summer hours and prices. The pool will be open from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The admission prices will also be remain the same as last year.

Admission prices for ages three and up are $4, citizens ages 55 and older are $3, and children ages one and two are $2. Pool passes for individuals are $55, with family passes at $160. A two hour pool party with 50 guests or less will be $125; and $150 for more than 50 guests.

The planned opening date for the pool is May 25, 2024.

In other news, the board appointed Christie Hedgpeth to the Library Board.
