Endangered Person for woman making suicidal threats

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis County Police issue an Endangered Person advisory for a 27-year old woman, after she made suicidal statements to the crisis hotline via text message.

Ambrea Shanks is African American 5-feet tall, 115-pounds, red hair, with a tattoo on the left chest area, wearing a black jacket and gray sweat-pants.

Shanks went missing after 4:00 Monday afternoon from the 11900 block of Red Barn.

She was driving a blue Chevrolet Malibu. Ambrea has attempted suicide three times since 2016 and is threatening to take pills.

Her last phone ping was right before 7:00 p-m at St. Charles Rock Road and 270.
