The University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Band is taking its place on good ol’ Rocky Top with its first halftime show of the season: "Ecstasy of Orange."

The Vols play the Chattanooga Mocs at the Neyland Stadium home owner Aug. 31, and of course fans can expect to hear the rallying tones of one of the most prestigious college marching bands in the country.

The halftime show will celebrate our Volunteer State and everything that makes it great with classic songs.

What songs will the Pride of the Southland Band perform this weekend?

The "Ecstasy of Orange" show will feature:

    • "The Ecstasy of Gold," best known as part of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" soundtrack
    • "Back Where I Come From," written and recorded by Mac McAnally, later covered by Kenny Chesney
    • "Orange Blossom Special," an old fiddle tune later played by Johnny Cash, who also named an album after it
    • "Appalachian Spring," from the ballet of the same name composed by Aaron Copland
    • "Tennessee Waltz," the fourth official state song of Tennessee
    • "Tennessee Whiskey," a country song covered by Chris Stapleton in 2015
