On Monday night, the Tennessee Volunteers took down the Texas A&M Aggies to claim their first College World Series title in school history.

Tennessee legend Peyton Manning was in the house to watch his alma mater get it done in Omaha. And after the game, the former Volunteers quarterback sent a clear warning to the college football world.

"Tennessee is coming in all sports," Manning said.

"I sat up there with [basketball coach] Rick Barnes and [football coach] Josh Heupel tonight and watched this," he said in his full response. "I'm telling you, this is not the last. Tennessee is coming in all sports.

"This is a special night, but this is the first of several to come. I really believe that."

Tennessee football finished the 2023 season with a 9-4 record capped off by a 35-0 Citrus Bowl victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes. Tennessee basketball made a run to the Elite Eight before ultimately losing to No. 1 seed Purdue.

Heupel and the Volunteers will begin their 2024 college football season with a matchup against Chattanooga on August 31.
