Officers spotted a man armed with a handgun upon arrival. A police spokesperson said the suspect ran from the parking lot and discarded the gun. He was apprehended promptly and the firearm was recovered by responding officers.

Two people told investigators that the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Joseph Wools, shot at them after an argument. Nobody was struck by gunfire and no injuries were reported. One of the victims told police that he was put in fear for his life and believed that the suspect was trying to kill him according to the police report.

Wools faces two counts of second-degree attempted murder, one count of possession of a firearm while under the influence, public intoxication, and evading arrest.
