    These people gave the most money to each Knox County Commission candidate

    Almost all candidates running for Knox County Commission received donations in the last part of the election cycle, from April 1 to July 22, and several had individual contributors who maxed out the limits.

    The most amount of money an individual can donate to a campaign is $1,800 in the general election and $1,800 in the primary.

    Here are Knox County Commission candidates' top donations, according to campaign finance records.

    District 1

    Charles Frazier, Republican

    Frazier has not filed the campaign finance reports required for the past two periods.

    Damon Rawls, Democrat

    • 44 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $1,000 from Tennessee Realtors PAC
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 from Shirley Black

    District 2

    Courtney Durrett, incumbent Democrat

    • 49 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $6,000 from the Tennessee Realtors PAC
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 each from Janet Lawson and Phillip Lawson

    Ethan Grantham, independent

    Grantham did not take donations.

    Debbie Phillips, Republican

    • 21 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $2,000 from the Knox County Republican Party
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 from Justin Hirst, who lost in the GOP primary for Knox County Commission. Hirst also is running for the Tennessee House of Representatives in District 15.

    District 4

    Garrett Holt, Republican

    • 72 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $250 from the Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. PAC
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 each from Ann Bailey, Steve Bailey, David Colquitt and Wes Stowers

    Shane Jackson, Democrat

    • 307 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $5,000 from the Tennessee Realtors PAC
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 each from Janet Lawson, Mary Sullivan and William Sullivan

    District 5

    S. Arthur Moore, Democrat

    • 88 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $150 from the Democratic Women of Knoxville
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 from Atonia Webb

    Angela Russell, Republican

    • 37 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $2,000 from the Knox County Republican Party
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 each from Jack Stenziano, Whitney Stenziano and Steve Williams

    District 6

    Daniel Greene, Democrat

    • 37 donations
    • Greene did not receive any donations from a group
    • Highest donation from an individual: $500 from Jennifer Payne

    Terry Hill, Republican

    • Six donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $3,000 from the Tennessee Realtors PAC
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,000 from Chuck Holland

    District 8

    Charles Chandler, Democrat

    • 33 donations
    • Chandler did not have donations from a group.
    • Highest donation from an individual: $100 each from Sarah Baskin, Catherine Brewer, Paul Laudeman, Dave and Judy Lee, Michelle Loseke, Reshad Mahmudov, Saleem Saleem, Lucy Stephenson and Edwin Yeiser

    Adam Thompson, Republican

    • Two donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $2,000 from the Knox County Republican Club
    • Highest donation from an individual: $500 from Kevin Murphy

    District 9

    Andy Fox, Republican

    • 55 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $2,000 from the Knox County Republican Party
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 from Doug Harris

    Matthew Park, Democrat

    • 389 donations
    • Highest donation from a group: $5,000 from the Tennessee Realtors PAC.
    • Highest donation from an individual: $1,800 each from Janet Lawson and Philip Lawson

    Stacey Bryan Smith, independent

    Smith did not accept donations.
