FAYETTEVILLE – With the 2025 recruiting haul locked down, the Arkansas baseball program added to its 2026 class on Tuesday.

Rockwall, Texas, right handed junior infielder-pitcher Dylan Creek (5-11, 175) pledged to the Razorbacks after hitting .330 as a sophomore first team All-District 10-6A selection for the Yellowjackets (27-14-2).

His fastball touches 92 mile per hour and he had a fielding percentage of .876 in 2024 per MaxPreps.

Creek, who hit .277 as a freshman, chose Arkansas over interest from Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Dallas Baptist, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Baylor.

“After much prayer and consideration, I am excited to announce my commitment to the University of Arkansas! Woo Pigs,” Creek said via X, previously known as Twitter.

Perfect Game had the following summation of Creek’s skills.

“Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more,” Perfect Game notes. “6.79 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has easy range to both sides and is an athletic mover, very balanced making plays on the move, throws accurately from multiple arm slots and show very good carry when he gets on top of it. Also worked out in the outfield but his tools work much better on the dirt.

“Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a short stride into contact, deep hand load creates some length, pretty simple timing and he repeats well, solid swing foundation to grow from as he gets stronger. Good student.”

Creek is Arkansas’ ninth diamond pledge in the 2026 class.

The in-state pledges are Valley View catcher Keaton Mathis, Benton shortstop Marcus Bates, El Dorado outfielder Bretaveon Brown and Russellville pitcher Trystan Newberrry.

The Razorbacks also have commits from the Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove duo of shortstop Spencer Browning and outfielder Hunter Rose, Raymore (Mo.) Peculiar left handed pitcher Johnny Carver and right handed pitcher Lincoln Boyle of Overland Park (Kan.) St. Thomas Aquinas.
