    LASD seeking public's help to find missing 25-year-old man

    Authorities Thursday sought the public's help to find a 25-year-old man who has been missing for more than a month.

    Brian Christopher Govea-Martinez IV last contacted his family on July 8, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

    Govea-Martinez is Hispanic, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

    "Mr. Govea-Martinez requires medication," the sheriff's department said in a statement. "His loved ones are concerned for his well-being and (are) asking for your help."

    Anyone with information about his whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website lacrimestoppers.org .
