The South Bay’s BeachLife festival was canceled this year due to construction at the venue, but organizers are bringing a smaller concert to Redondo Beach this fall.

The two-day BeachLife Nights festival will feature reggae and rock music on the sand, including Michael Franti and Spearhead headlining the first night. Organizer Sam Meyer says VIP ticket holders will also get a tasting session with a Michelin star chef.

“The main add, which is different from what we typically do, is Curtis Stone,” he told KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian. “For those foodies, this is a big deal. This is a top 10 chef in the world, arguably the best barbecue person on the planet right now.”

The festival will be held on Oct. 18 and 19 in Redondo Beach. General admission tickets are $75 a day, and VIP tickets go for $259.
