Chanute Public Library set to start new program

CHANUTE, Kan. (KOAM) -- The Chanute Public Library announces a new monthly program, Silent Book Club.

Members of the club will be meeting every third Monday to silently read a book of their choosing, while enjoying snacks, and the company of other readers.

The club will meet downstairs in the reading area of the adult non-fiction section.

Organizers plan for meetings to begin at 5:30 P.M.
