KDOT announces permanent road closure in Cherokee County

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) -- The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) announces a permanent road closure in Cherokee County.

According to the KDOT Southeast Kansas Facebook page , KDOT will be permanently closing access to Star Road from the northbound lanes of U.S. 400/166 in Cherokee County.

KDOT says the closure was planned as part of the U.S. 400/166 expansion project.
