Heritage Tractor awarded Pittsburg's 2024 Employer of the Year

PITTSBURG, Kan. (KOAM) - Heritage Tractor, a local John Deere dealer located on Highway 69, off the Pittsburg bypass, was awarded the 2024 Employer of the Year by the City of Pittsburg at a ceremony on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

This recognition shows Heritage Tractor's exceptional contribution to the community through quality job creation, innovation, and significant reinvestment in the local area.

Mayor Hite emphasized the longstanding impact of Heritage Tractor, which, though established in 1964, is a recent addition to Pittsburg's city limits following their request for annexation to support a major expansion. This expansion, initiated in 2023, will add nearly 40,000 square feet to their facility, proving their commitment to growth and community investment.

"On behalf of the City Commissioners, I am proud to present the Employer of the Year Award to Heritage Tractor.
