Joplin Schools hosts annual Bus Camp

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) - Joplin Schools will host its annual Bus Camp on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Junge Field from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event is open to incoming Kindergarten and First Grade students and their families. Attendees will learn about bus safety, bus stop rules, and can take a practice ride to help students get comfortable on a school bus.

Local businesses and organizations will also have vendor booths set up to assist families in preparing for the upcoming school year. The event is free for all participants.
