Food truck trailer and pickup burn in Carthage

CARTHAGE, Mo. (KOAM) — Pickup truck and food trailer burn at Lowe’s.

Carthage Police tell us there were no injuries.

Explosions were heard and flames visible from Churros Colima . At least two propane tanks were blown from the fire. One is about 100 feet to the north.

The Carthage Fire Marshal arrived on scene to begin investigation into the cause of the fire.

People inside Lowe’s told us the second explosion was louder than the first.

Churros Colima release a statement online regarding the fire:

”With this, our dreams and goals that we had are taken away. Everyone who followed us knew that we had only been running the business for 5 months since the previous owners sold it to us. This is how we see years of effort trying to save money to one day fulfill our dreams. sorry customers I can’t with this  I just ask you to pray for us so that we can be strong and start over.“
