Greene County deputies remove illegal encampment on East Kearney

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — An encampment with a few trespassers has been removed from a property near East Kearney Street.

According to a Facebook post from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a privately owned property that housed trespassers who set up an illegal encampment.

Police say the owner of the property requested the removal.

According to the post, multiple trespassers were removed from the property leaving it littered with trash.

No one was arrested and resource information was given to the people who were removed.
