Suspect caught on surveillance video near Army Surplus store fire refuses to answer police questions
SANDPOINT, Idaho - The woman accused of burning down the Army Surplus store in Sandpoint on the Fourth of July refused to answer police questions as to why she started the fires.
Two Suspects Arrested in Connection With Overdose Deaths in North Idaho
HAUSER LAKE – On Wednesday, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) responded to two separate overdose incidents that resulted in the deaths of two young men. At approximately 7:19 AM, deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of W. Lake Street in Hauser Lake, Idaho, where a 20-year-old male was found deceased from a likely Fentanyl overdose. About three hours later, KCSO units responded to the 1700 block of Cecil Road, where a 24-year-old male was also found deceased, suspected of a Fentanyl overdose.
