All lanes open after police activity cleared on 101 in Menlo Park

( KRON ) — All lanes are back open after police activity on southbound Highway 101 in Menlo Park temporarily impacted traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol. A severe traffic alert was issued earlier and residual delays are still expected, according to the CHP.

The 101 offramp at Willow Road in Menlo Park was blocked. Motorists were advised to expect delays, use alternate routes, and avoid the area. However, as of 10:50 a.m., the incident was cleared.
