Police said Babitz was with a woman, now identified as Jessie Dominguez, when he carjacked a vehicle in Albuquerque and fled to Las Cruces. That’s where investigators said he and Dominguez held up an Arby’s at gunpoint before committing another carjacking. They crashed, and Dominguez fled, while Babitz was arrested .

KRQE News 13 learned that Dominguez was arrested a week ago on a probation violation. She’s now facing armed robbery charges for the Arby’s holdup.
