    Photos show aftermath of severe weather in southeastern Kansas

    FORT SCOTT, Kan. (KSNW) — Kaleb Bailey, with Bailey Drone Services, shared photos of the aftermath of severe weather in Fort Scott.

    Fields, gas stations, parking lots, parks and roadways are flooded.

    The National Weather Service in Springfield, Missouri, has issued a flood warning for the Marmaton River, which runs through Fort Scott. The warning will remain in effect until early Wednesday morning unless otherwise noted.

    Storm Reports: Tornadoes touch down in south-central Kansas

    The NWS said Sunday morning that “at 47.0 feet, flood waters begin to spill over the bridge deck at the Marmaton River, along North National Avenue.”
