Concerned family members and authorities are searching for a missing Southern California man who hasn’t been seen in over two weeks.

Michael Martinez, 23, disappeared on July 25, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

He was last seen on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue in Los Angeles at around 3 p.m. and last heard from at around 6 p.m. that day.

The next day, his vehicle was found abandoned in a remote San Bernardino County area near the 15 Freeway and Wild Wash Road.

Martinez’s family is extremely concerned, saying it’s uncharacteristic for him to not return home. He does not have any medical or mental health issues that would contribute to his disappearance, loved ones said.
